Hey Stan,
The new house is fantastic! It’s exactly what I needed. We saw MANY houses, and several houses I wanted, but this place is really the perfect house and is exactly what me and my kids needed.
Thank you for the years of stellar real estate advice and service! When we met in 2002 I had just divorced and was rebuilding my life. You played a big part in that recovery process. I had met a bunch of realtors as I looked for a new place to start over. You were the only one who understood what I needed. After we closed on that property most other realtors would have moved on to the next sale, never to be seen again. I appreciate the many times you stopped by to visit as I remodeled and the way you’ve continued to stay in touch.
I knew when it was time to for me to sell I would be calling upon your services again. Last year when I decided to sell and find a new place I was nervous about the market as both a seller and a buyer. It was a time of some indecision for me. Thanks for your professionalism, patience and understanding.
Your passion for real estate and helping people is no joke. When we closed on my new home, I had only two days to move out of my old place and into the new one. I didn’t have time to arrange for movers. I still can’t believe YOU, my real estate agent helped me move all my stuff! I am very lucky and quite grateful to have such an amazing real estate agent whom I also consider a friend.
Thanks Stan!
Warmest regards,
Carlos Schulte

Dear Stan,
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much we appreciate all the help you gave us when we were selling our house.
I know that it was challenging for you because we lived out of state, but you made everything so easy for us. Whenever we needed help getting things done, you were always there and whenever we were in town, you always found time to stop by even if it was just to say hi. Your marketing techniques and your friendly attitude are next to none!
It was a pleasure meeting you and doing business with you. I would highly recommend you to anyone buying or selling a house. My only regret is that you’re not in Arizona to help us find our new home here!
Troop Realty is very fortunate to have you working for them.
Thanks again,
Debee and Don Farrar

Stan,
Candice and I would like to say how much we appreciate all the time and care you took to help us get our first house. You always answered our crazy phone calls no matter what and had such a wonderful enthusiastic response. If it wasn't for all your attention to detail and your constant information to us, we would have gone completely crazy. You are truly a careing and hard working realtor. We had two other before we found the cute guy on the internet. We would have never been able to get this wonderful first home without your help. That much we do know and will never forget it. When we sell our house down the road and buy a new one, you are our guy from now till forever.
Thank you so much Stan

Dear Mr. Troop:
Recently my husband, Gary, and I sold our townhouse and purchased a single family home. We had the pleasure of working with Stan Rector on both transactions.
With Stan’s help, we were able to sell our property in less than a week!! Then, when it took us a while to find the home of our choice, Stan was able to coordinate with the buyers and keep them happy while they waited for us.
However, the part that really stands out for me was looking for our new home. After a very short period of time, Stan just knew what we were looking for. This was crucial for us because we both work out of town, and running back and forth to Simi Valley to look at homes was pretty much out of the question. When either Stan or I would find a listing that sounded good, he would go and look at it before scheduling an appointment for Gary and I to go see it. He would let me know right away if it was exactly what we wanted or not, and if it was he would schedule the walk-through at a time that was convenient for us, even if that meant sweet-talking the sellers.
There was such a huge difference between working with Stan on these transactions and the previous realtor we had worked with. That guy does a lot of advertising in Simi, but he was a joke! I was stressed out, I had to keep leaving work to look at houses, and ultimately I found the townhouse on the Internet and had to call them to schedule and appointment
Stan was just the opposite. He was a total joy to work with, and we had a great time during the almost 3 months of looking for our house. I have already recommended him to several of my friends for future home purchases, and I tell everyone I know how great he is to work with. They all know about my previous experience, and they know I don’t really give recommendations unless I mean it.
You have a real jewel in Stan Rector, and I will definitely call him again when its time for the next move.
Thank you for the referral,
Sincerely,
Brigitte G. Campbell

Dear Stan:
Happy New Year! Of course you know I wish you and Tanya all the best in 2005. I hope it’s a wonderful year for you both in every possible way, both personally and professionally.
I want to take this opportunity to once again thank you for helping me find and buy my home over the summer. Not a day goes by when I don’t think warmly of you, and I thank my lucky stars that you were my real estate agent. You were truly a godsend to me.
It was obviously a very trying time for me personally, the time of my divorce. My divorce was not an easy one, and you were present during the very hardest part of it. I needed a place to make a home. Not just any house. As a newly single mother of two, I dreamed of a lovely home in which to begin anew. It was late spring, nearly summer, and the market was hot. Homes were in short supply; prices were rising; it was a seller’s market and I was a buyer on a bit of a budget.
I know that buying or selling a home can be a stressful event. It’s a very big decision, often full of complications. When my ex-husband and I bought our first home together, it took us about a year and a half to find the right home and make the purchase. As first-time buyers, we felt uncertain that we were making the right decisions. This was complicated by the fact that we never had a real estate agent who we felt understood our needs, someone we could trust completely, someone who actually cared whether we found the right home or not. It often felt as if the agent was not really working for us at all. Consequently, we went through six different agents during our home search and I had little confidence in the one we used to purchase that home.
For this reason, I am so glad that I found you at the beginning of my home search, and that you were there with me through each step of the process. When I called Troop initially to inquire about a listing I saw in the newspaper, you answered the phone. What a lucky day for me that was! I had just stumbled upon the best real estate agent I could ever ask for.
From that moment on, I never had a single doubt about doing business with you. You listened closely to my needs, you took me out to show me homes, you e-mailed me new listings every day and we worked together until we found The Home. It is perfect for the needs of my family. It is exactly everything I hoped for.
You gave me unlimited access to your website, which was a wealth of valuable information. I was able to research prospective homes online, 24 hours a day. I knew I had access to the most recent listings and could act on them immediately. Your website put the information right at my fingertips. I appreciated that and so much more.
I appreciated your professionalism: You always returned my calls more promptly than I expected. (Whenever I called you! On weekends! During odd hours!) I appreciated your honesty: You gave me your opinion when I asked for it and when I needed it. I appreciated your commitment: You helped me to write up on offer on Mother’s Day while you had your family in the other room. (You were available on Mother’s Day!) I appreciated your positive attitude: You were there with a kind word or smile, and we shared many a laugh (and you made the process FUN). I appreciated your patience: You listened to me cry on the phone when I was stressed about my divorce and how it was impacting my home search (sobbing clients—yikes—not your responsibility). I appreciated how personable you were to my kids (my little boy thinks you are awesome and still asks about you). I appreciated your real estate savvy: You knew what properties were worth and didn’t let me overbid. (I’m glad I passed on the place with the inflated asking price. It wasn’t as good a home as the one we waited a little longer for.)
You went way above and beyond the call of duty for me. You would liaison with my attorney and my mortgage broker whenever necessary. You shielded me from the calls of nervous real estate agents up the line when I couldn’t close my escrow on time due to circumstances beyond my control. All these other realtors were freaking out and yet you remained calm and focused. You controlled the transaction at all times and were aggressive in making certain that things were done on time and that other people were doing their jobs. You saw to every little detail. You helped me get the deal done. I tell my friends that I am sure I would not have gotten this house without you as my agent. You made it all come together.
How can I ever thank you enough, Stan? Well, I can tell everyone I know how instrumental you were in making that house my home. And, trust me, I do tell everyone just that. I tell them that there is no harder-working agent on the planet than you. There is no agent who provides better service. You earned that commission many times over. There is no agent who takes more pride in what he does for his clients. There is no agent who cares more on a personal level about his clients’ satisfaction and, yes, happiness. I know you had other clients, and yet you made me feel as if I was your only client.
When I’m ready to sell or buy again, you will once again be my agent of choice. You are my real estate consultant for life and, as a matter of fact, I can now truly say that I “have a friend in the business.”
Warmly,
Karen Burns
